Description
Rebuilt on the foundations of a 19th century stone sheepfold, this 130 m² (1,399 sq ft) house is set in the peace and quiet on 6,800 m² (1.7 acres) of terraced land with an aerial view, planted with pine and olive trees (production of approx. 70 litres / 15.4 gallons of olive oil per year).
It is accessed from a no-through road via a fairly steep concrete drive, leading to the front of the house.
The ground floor comprises an independent bedroom with its shower room and a small storage room.
The garden level comprises a very large area including a raised kitchen section opening into a dining room and its covered terrace, a lounge with a fireplace, and a bedroom with an en suite bathroom. Terracotta tiles cover the floors and the beams are exposed. A small extension would be possible.
A 20 m² (215 sq ft) outbuilding is situated on a lower level.
A free-form, overflowing swimming pool with a view of the countryside and the adjoining terrace has been built in terracing close to the house.
Our opinion
A small, immaculately kept, south-facing property set in the peace and quiet, 15 km (9.4 miles) from the TGV train station and the airport, 10 minutes from a large shopping centre.
With its magnificent view, it is ideal for getting a change of scenery and relaxing by the side of the pool.
1 or 2 rooms could be added, and 1.5 ha (3.7 acres) of adjoining land could also be bought.
