Pink and black varnished bricks on the south and east facades are laid in a design of diamond shapes one on top of another, thus dictating the pattern of the white stone quoins.

The manor house
An excellent example of the orders given by the powerful regional nobility of the era. Its construction is typical of the Caux region, so easily recognised from the outside by the materials used and the orientation of the building. The inside is surprising in that it combines the refinement of the Italian Renaissance-style with that of the Châteaux of the Loire which inspired it.
The annex buildings, some of which are spacious and well constructed, make it possible to envisage a number of uses.
Our opinion
Vestige of the 16th century, this attractive building is close to all amenities. It would suit a family wanting to live in the country, whilst remaining close to the town and a coastline of renowned seaside resorts. A building that would lend itself to the development of any kind of hotel and catering, bed & breakfast or holiday accommodation business.
