Location
65 km (41 miles) from Paris and near to Melun (in the Bellifontaine region), this forest park spanning 120 ha (296 acres) “former hind park for the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte” is situated between two towns; there are no visual or noise nuisances worthy of note.
Description
In a 120 ha (296 acre) forestry unit: half planted with oak trees and half with fir trees.
Populated with fifty or so wild boar, ten hind and stags, fifteen roe deer.
Several watering places and lakes.
44 observation towers.
4 catch pits.

Chalet on one level with 350 m² (3,767 sq ft) of living space:

Our opinion
It is relatively rare to find such a perfectly developed forest park with this surface area at this distance from Paris. It can obviously be used as well organised hunting grounds, or naturally constitute a fairly diversified nature reserve. It will be appreciated by enthusiasts of one or the other. Not to mention, enthusiasts of both.
