Location
In the Aquitaine region, in the land of fortified towns and medieval cities between Bergerac and Sarlat where the Black and the Purple Périgord meet.

In the heart of a former wine producing town, situated on the banks of the river, also a former port, where fishing boats and merchant barges used to moor in olden times, reminding us that water has been the principal means of communication between the Massif Central, the Auvergne and Bordeaux since the Gallo-Roman era.
A village where it is pleasant to live, to take advantage of its small summer food markets and flavourful gastronomy, and to enjoy the numerous outdoor activities on offer in the surrounding area to the full: hiking, pony trekking, canoeing, playing golf (two courses no more than 20 minutes away), potholing, ULM flying, etc.
30 minutes away from Bergerac and its airport with flights to Paris and several English towns, and just a few miles from two train stations.
Description
This authentic traditional Périgord-style house was built in the 19th century on the river bank. Its impressive traditional architectural structure is flanked by two former dovecotes, and spans approx. 2,691 sq ft of living space over three stories. The recently completed renovation works were designed and overseen by an interior architect; they have made the property both comfortable and beautiful.
The rooms are spacious and have been made as luminous as possible by taking advantage of the triple aspect, the best of which gives a wonderful view over the Dordogne: 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, shower room, kitchen, dining room with stone fireplace, lounge with a large, picture window forming a balcony.
