
In Upper Savoy, land with building permission and a chalet in the Saint-Gervais ski resort
In Upper Savoy, on the heights of the Saint-Gervais ski resort, less than 500 m (547 yards) from the start of the cable car linking Megève and the “Evasion” ski area. Access via the A40 Geneva - Chamonix motorway, 11 km (7 miles) from the French SNCF train station in Fayet (TGV trains run during the season) and 70 minutes from Geneva international airport.
The property spans an overall surface area of approx. 3,550 m² (0.88 acres) of land with planning permission and no rights of way. This east/west facing, slightly sloping plot commands a view over the valley and looks down on the local, little-used lane. Partly comprising woods and grassland, the plot is perfectly peaceful and completely unoverlooked. The chalet

The chalet is easy to access both in the summer and the winter and it is possible to ski home from the slopes.

The outbuildings
Right next to the chalet is a construction with a floor surface area of approx. 18 m² (194 sq ft). It is situated on the edge of the narrow local lane and is used as a covered parking area and a workshop.
Higher up is an old Swiss “Mazot” with a floor surface area of 7 m² (75 sq ft) which is used for storage purposes.
This property is the last plot with planning permission in this sought-after area of the Saint-Gervais ski resort. It is obviously attractive because of its construction possibilities. Two of its major assets are its immediate proximity to the start of the cable car and its ease of access. Although the building is simply constructed, it is pleasant and could, of course, be greatly extended.
