19th century, traditional mas house near to Luberon and the Alpilles mountains

Description
This late 19th century, traditional Provencal farmhouse with its exposed stone, wisteria-covered facade stands in an unspoilt setting at the end of a narrow lane in a farming area.
The ground floor of the main building comprises an entrance hall, a kitchen, a shower room, a storeroom and a cellar as well as a lounge with a cathedral ceiling and an exposed stone wall, and a dining room with a fireplace and an old-fashioned ceiling.
The main, south-facing rooms open on to a tiled terrace, shaded by an old olive tree. There is a covered section comprising a barbecue and a well.
The stairway leads up from the entrance hall to the 1st floor which has 4 bedrooms, a bathroom and a shower room.
On the west side of the house is an adjacent, independent section comprising one room on the ground floor and one room upstairs; there is an adjoining garage.
The 2.5 ha (6.2 acres) of land is divided into two sections. One enclosed, wooded section with an automatic watering system spans approx. 3,000 m² (0.75 acres). This haven of coolness also includes the swimming pool area.
The other section is planted with fruit and olive trees and the fields are cultivated. Access to the canal gives free rein to watering and flooding.
Our opinion
A well-kept house with a countrified air and extensive flat grounds where children can run freely. Not far from all amenities and surrounded by culture due to its ideal geographical situation between Aix, Avignon and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.
