Although completely modernised, the building still has its original facade, supposed to date from the 18th century. String courses enhance the four floors and stone canopies, with friezes featuring guttae, top the windows with their slatted shutters. The semi-circular arched gateway, surrounded by dressed stone with grooved joints, provides access to the entrance hall, panelled with white-leaded oak wood and paved with Burgundy stone and blue Bahia marble.

Our opinion

In the peace and quiet and the light, this classically sober property is set amidst mansion houses dating from the Age of Reason, near to the river Seine, the Tuileries Gardens and Place-de-l'Opéra. In Paris’ prestigious 8th arrondissement, this flat combines luminosity and practicality, both of which could be enhanced with a personalised decor. It is equally well suited to a family home as premises for a professional activity.
