In the midst of the Parc-d’Orléans district, in the quiet Rue-des-Dames-Augustines, just a stone’s throw from Boulevard-Victor-Hugo.
The origin of the Dames-Augustines dates back to the 13th century in Flanders, where they cared for the sick and took in the poor. The Dames-Augustines, who were canonesses from the order of Saint-Augustin, settled in Paris in 1634. The community was authorised to receive a certain number of young girls as pupils courtesy of letters patent from Louis XIII. Between 1818 and 1820, the French writer, Georges-Sand, lived in the convent run by the Dames-Augustines which has since become the Institution-Sainte-Marie (secondary school and sixth form college). Amongst the numerous schools in the area are the Institution-Notre-Dame-de-Sainte-Croix, the Collège-et-Lycée-Pasteur, the state primary school Madeleine-Michelis as well as the very well-known École-Bleue. Louise-Michel underground station is within walking distance and bus route 43 is nearby. Les-Sablons market is an 8-minute walk away.

Description

The building, constructed around 1950, is surrounded by a vast garden, in the midst of the Parc-d’Orléans district, in the quiet Rue-des-Dames-Augustines, just a stone’s throw from Boulevard-Victor-Hugo. This delightful green open space is both tranquil and peaceful.
The communal areas, in a good state of repair, are enhanced with marble and wide mirrors which are also reminiscent of the 1950’s. This 80 m² flat is on the ground floor and overlooks the garden. The flat

The front door opens directly into the communicating reception rooms. The dining room and the lounge are enhanced by an unobstructed view over the garden. The floor, covered with light-coloured oak wood parquet flooring, laid in a randomly-matched pattern, is harmonious and timeless. Absolute peace and quiet reigns in this flat with its views of the outside.
The kitchen, which also looks out over the garden, is laid out longwise and adjoins the reception rooms.
Two, 14 m² bedrooms face south and are, therefore, constantly luminous.

Our opinion

Just the name of Neuilly is enough to evoke a pleasant way of life on the outskirts of Paris, just two kilometres from the Arc-de-Triomphe. Any small family settling in this flat will greatly appreciate the numerous good schools that are to be found nearby in the town. Furthermore, all the rooms have a view, looking out over a large, verdant garden. Peaceful properties in town with views of vegetation, like this one, are a guarantee of well-being.
