Our opinion

This chateau, ideally set in the Hesbaye region, not far from Namur and Brussels, stands in magnificent wooded parklands near to a quiet village. Constructed by the local lords, it was home over the centuries to the principality’s well-known families, including a mayor of Liège. The residence, fully renovated in the 1990’s, currently houses a 3-star hotel. In addition to the various reception rooms, a wonderful lounge has been created under an atrium in the west wing. This property also includes a large farmhouse and its farm buildings. These are laid out in a square and partially await renovation works. These premises are ideal for weddings or company seminars. They are also a superb starting point from which to explore the region or to take a stroll around the vast lawns amongst the peacocks and the rabbits.
