80 km from Paris, the village is set in countryside with a landscape of plains dominated in the distance by Chartres cathedral. The historic town now covers a part of the Beauce region as a result of its tourist appeal and its dynamism.
The village also benefits from the proximity of all the shops and amenities in the little towns of Voves and Auneau, both 15 km away with 55-minute RER regional train links to Paris.
The garden level:
The entrance hall leads, on the road and garden sides, to a kitchen, a bedroom, a shower room and a toilet.
The kitchen features old terracotta floor tiles as well as some wonderful wooden units. The work surfaces and part of the walls are covered with pearly-white mosaic zellige tiles.
The first bedroom, with parquet flooring, communicates with a shower room and still has its grey marble fireplace.
On the garden side, the entrance hall, a dining room and a lounge form one large, through area, where only a little section of the old half-timbered partitioning still remains. This level has also been fully renovated and has a water supply point. It is currently laid out as one, big open space, featuring the exposed roofing framework. It awaits some finishing works and could easily be laid out in a different manner.
