The surrounding areas include the banks of the river Cher, the Loire chateaux and Beauval Zoo which is the biggest in Europe. These tranquil lands are ideal for hunting, fishing and playing golf.
Just a few kilometres from a village, this property stands in the midst of its continuous, nuisance-free estate, composed of grasslands, woods and a lake.


The constructions are laid out in the centre of the grounds. They comprise an old, fully renovated farm which consists of two traditional long farmhouses, facing one another, several outbuildings and a farm shed.

The first house

The first house is an old barn constructed from quarry stone blocks, with lime rendered facades. Its roof is covered with traditional tiles.

Ground floor
The ground floor comprises a large, central living room. This 72 m² room, going right up to the roof, features the exposed oak wood roofing framework. Stone tiles cover the floor and the walls are painted in a similar hue. In addition to the underfloor heating, it also has a very efficient wood-burning stove. This reception room is extremely bright courtesy of its double aspect and its large French windows.
The fully fitted kitchen also features exposed ceiling beams. A bedroom adjoins a shower room, with an Italian-style shower, and a toilet.

First floor
A stairway, housed in the living room, goes upstairs. The exposed roofing framework in a very large, carpeted bedroom, with a sloping ceiling, is in pristine condition.

The second house

Standing parallel to and facing the first house, this traditional, long farmhouse spans approx. 267 m². It has been fully and meticulously renovated and includes underfloor heating, oak wood door and window frames and natural stone floor tiles.

Ground floor
This level comprises an entrance hall, with a wooden stairway. It leads, left, to a bedroom with its shower room and toilet. On the right-hand side is a lounge, with its dressed stone fireplace. A dining room communicates with a fully fitted kitchen, featuring a central unit.
First floor
The first floor is laid out under the slopes of the roof and its exposed roofing framework. A landing leads to a bedroom, with a shower room and a toilet, a second bedroom, a small study, a shower room and a toilet. A very large, third bedroom spans a floor surface area of 50 m².

The outbuildings and the annex buildings

This property also comprises several outbuildings and annex buildings. A first construction, with a toilet, is used as a linen room. Once the old stables, a room in the traditional, long farmhouse is used as a workshop and a tack room. One of the two other small buildings houses a boiler room and its oil tanks; the other includes a well pump used for watering purposes.
There are also a woodshed, a large, wood-clad farm shed, two horse loose boxes and a kennel.

The parklands and the grounds

In addition to a vegetable garden and the landscaped areas around the buildings, this property spans close to 50 hectares. It is divided between extensive, untreated grasslands and wooded plots abounding in game. On a lower level, a small, fish-filled lake is bordered by impressive oak trees.

Our opinion

These houses, standing as they are in the midst of grasslands with their steep roofs featuring hanging roof dormers, are exceedingly attractive. The chapter devoted to the quality renovation works which have been carried out can but mention the enhancement of the impressive roofing frameworks, notably in the large reception room which goes right up to the roof of one of the buildings. Together with the outbuildings that could be devoted to bed & breakfast or equestrian projects, these constructions form a sort of hamlet. This immense estate, with its meadows and woods abounding in game, is made ever more attractive by a discreet lake.
