This property is set in the midst of the countryside in the Languedoc region, far from any nuisances, in surroundings composed of vines and scrubland. Béziers is 15 km away, Narbonne 24, Montpellier 80 and the sea 21 km away. It is in an area where all construction is banned. The Canal-du-Midi is nearby.
The 18th century residence
This residence is divided into three large, intercommunicating flats, with additional communal rooms. Two stairways provide the links between the floors. Each flat spans two levels.
In times gone by, the accommodation was contained in a single wing. The other, more recently converted wing was used for utility purposes: an old, tall wine storehouse, spanning approx. 220 m², still takes up the entire lower level and has a separate entrance on the parklands side.

These partially walled parklands comprise a vegetable garden on one side with, further away, an old greenhouse missing its glass and a swimming pool. Featuring many old pathways, they are enhanced with superb trees, hundreds of years old.
The layout of this L-shaped house creates a private area under the unblemished sky of the Languedoc region. Numerous French windows blur the distinction between the external natural surroundings and the inside. The interior decor, with triangular monumental arches, massive beams, age-old stairways and old floor tiles, is immediately of great interest and yet remains welcoming. The layout of the premises is ideal not only for accommodating a family but also for seasonal rentals. The only neighbours are the vines and the scrubland.
