It also benefits from all the advantages offered by its neighbouring royal town: the world-renowned palace, the forest estate, the golf course and numerous horse shows.


This property stands in the midst of the village. A large porch way opens on to a paved alleyway. A first little house is on the right-hand side. The house

The stairway, going up from the lounge, leads to a landing providing access to a dressing room. On the left-hand side is a large bedroom with a bathroom and toilet, followed by another bedroom with a sloping ceiling. On the right-hand side is a little bedroom, with a shower and toilet, as well as a very large bedroom, featuring a fireplace and a bathroom, with a shower and a toilet.

The small house

This little house stands at a distance from the main house. It spans approx. 90 m² of living space over two levels.

Ground floor
This level comprises an entrance hall, a small fitted kitchen, a shower room with a toilet and a lounge.
First floor
The first floor includes a bedroom, with a shower room, a dressing room and a second bedroom.

The outbuildings

This large, L-shaped building comprises three different sections:
-On the right-hand side: a large room with a furnished studio flat on the 1st floor, spanning a total floor surface area of approx. 85 m².
-In the centre: a barn in use as a woodshed and a storage area, spanning a total floor surface area of approx. 66 m².
-Set at right angles: another barn with a mezzanine, laid out as a function room-workshop, spanning a total ground surface area of approx. 50 m².
It is followed by a shed.

Our opinion

The restoration works carried out a few years ago also created a logical layout, making it easy to move around the house. The few rocks sticking out of the ground in the garden are delightful reminders of the proximity of Fontainebleau forest. In such a natural, cultural and international setting, notably with the palace and INSEAD, “The Business School for the World”, the structuring of the property as a main residence, a holiday home, a function room and outbuildings could favour a hotel and catering activity of some kind. Or it is perhaps just a golden opportunity to be able to live happily here all year round.
