This property is spread out in the Herve area, between the Berwinne and Bolland rivers, amidst old, picturesque bocage countryside. History recounts that this landscape, composed of irregular-shaped fields separated by hedges and ditches, came about in the 16th century when local peasants were forced to diversify their crops following Charles-Quint’s ban on exporting wheat. It has since been a source of some excellent cheeses. These farm buildings, set in 25 ha of land with a stream running through, are composed of two spacious and adjoining houses. Each has vast attics as well as outbuildings awaiting conversion. This property, ideal for a tourist project or as a family home, is in a region steeped in history and tradition very near to Liège and Maastricht.
