This peaceful residence, which dominates an unspoilt, 5 km long lake, will appeal to lovers of wild, natural surroundings. They will also like the neighbouring village of Eastman, on the banks of Argent Lake, with its mountains and watery landscapes as well as its many restaurants. A few kilometres further on is the town of Magog. Well-known for its water sports, it stands on the edge of Memphremagog Lake which extends over 44.5 km, coming to an end in the American state of Vermont. Needless to say that those who do not bring their canoe will quickly have to go out and buy one! All kinds of skiing equipment, cross-country or alpine skis as well as snowshoes, is also recommended as this house is at the foot of Mont-Orford. The region’s highest point, it is crisscrossed with slopes and fully equipped with ski-lifts, just like several other neighbouring, equally pleasant mountain tops. There is also an excellent choice of local golf courses and hiking trails, summer and winter alike, requiring a good pair of shoes. This residence is in a natural setting, 15 minutes from the motorway leading to Montreal. Surrounded by 10,724 m² of grounds, it comprises a blend of the bare and ochre-coloured wood typical of the region, with a covered gallery running the full width of the building, ideal for deckchairs. The entire ground floor, including an immense kitchen, is designed to take advantage of the view of the lake. It would make a comfortable home for one large or several smaller families.
