appartments for sale - paris - rue-saint-honoré

A 58 m², furnished pied-à-terre as elegant as the district
near Place-de-la-Concorde on Rue-Saint-Honoré

Between Rue-Royale and Rue-Cambon, surrounded by the Parisian art of living, where fashion design and the jewel trade are hand in hand with gastronomy. Place-de-la-Concorde, Place-Vendôme, Tuileries Gardens and the river Seine are all nearby.
Concorde underground station and numerous bus routes make it possible to move easily around the French capital.

The late, 18th century building is constructed from white rendered, dressed stone. The 5-storey facade features four bays with decorative fluted pilasters and their Ionic order capitals. A string course depicting an ova frieze and triglyph corbelling runs the length of the facade. The entrance door is set in framing comprising moulded panels, painted dark grey. A plain hall with its large mirrors, followed by an inner courtyard provides access to this third floor flat. This restored flat, spanning a floor surface area of 58 m² set out around two very quiet inner courtyards, is sold furnished. The entrance lobby, with parquet flooring, opens into a hall area, with hanging space, and a 16 m² fitted kitchen. A shower room is clad in white marble. Next, a 30 m² living-dining room features a fireplace with a trumeau including a mirror. All the rooms have large picture window with brass casement bolts. A 7 m² bedroom looks out over the second inner courtyard.

A furnished flat, just like a hotel suite

The wooden entrance door, painted a glossy red, on the third floor landing opens into a spacious 16 m² hall area with natural oak wood parquet flooring and a built-in hanging space. The fully fitted kitchen can be glimpsed in a mirror. Its minimalist character is enhanced with various shades of grey. Double windows with brass casement bolts, looking out over the first inner courtyard with its rendered walls, are followed by a shower room. Two white ceramic wash-hand basins standing on stainless steel pedestals are topped with a large mirror that reflects the marble lining the walls and floor.
A passageway, exuding simplicity and furnished with a chest of drawers, provides access to the 30 m² living-dining room with its light-coloured oak wood parquet flooring. The discreetly moulded walls and doors are white. Large windows with brass casement bolts are flanked by curtains forming a monochrome of differing hues of grey with the marble table top and the fabric covering the settee. Above a Louis XV style fireplace are a trumeau with a mirror and rocaille-style decoration. The walls feature moulded panels, mirrors and shelved alcoves. Moulded double doors open into a 7 m² bedroom. Furnished with a spacious bed, this room overlooks the second inner courtyard.

Our opinion

It feels good to go through the door to a peaceful haven in the historic and political centre of Paris. Well-known, prestigious French brand names are to be found near to the seats of power, on which they reflect their own fame. This unpretentious flat, ideal as a pied-à-terre or for an investor, features pure lines without being cold and is protected from overly bright, deceptive light.
