Standing in a small, history-filled town, once a sea port used for exporting farm products, this residence looks down on a coastal river, the banks of which make it possible to reach Audierne and the ocean on foot.

The house

This 3-storey home, spanning approx. 190 m², was built at the beginning of the 20th century. It was completely restored in keeping with good trade practices just a few years ago.

Ground floor
The entrance door, set in the facade facing the street, opens on to a corridor. It leads, on the right-hand side, to a bathroom with a toilet as well as a bedroom and, straight on, to a fully fitted kitchen opening into a room with parquet flooring, a fireplace and a superb view over the meandering river. A stairway provides access to the garden level and to the first floor.
First floor
A landing provides access to two bedrooms with parquet flooring. One, with a water supply point, features a large opening in a section of the roof which lets residents look out over the sea without getting out of bed. There are also a shower, a toilet and a bedroom under the rafters, spanning approx. 28 m². It has two skylights with a central opening overlooking the valley.
Garden level
This level features a large living room overlooking the garden. Spanning approx. 33 m², it has two fireplaces. The rest of the floor comprises a bedroom spanning approx. 25 m² with a kitchen area, a bathroom, a toilet and a door leading out on to the terrace.

Our opinion

Perched like a seagull on the banks of the ria, this tall white house can freely observe the changing tides. This elegant, comfortable residence, seemingly as robust as a lighthouse, has five bedrooms and 190 m² of completely renovated living space. A large family could easily live here, summer and winter alike, without having to schedule any works. The bedroom on the garden level, with its kitchen area and its bathroom, would make an ideal self-contained studio flat where passing friends or a teenager wanting some independence could be accommodated.
