The house

The double aspect, north and south-facing reception rooms are steeped in light courtesy of their picture windows opening widely on to the garden. The floor is covered with wide strip oak wood parquet flooring coming from the bottoms of old carriages, bestowing the room with a resolutely modern look. White walls and a white marble fireplace contrast elegantly with the warm colours of the sections featuring exposed brick walls. A wide, wooden stairway, illuminated by openings, goes upstairs.
First floor
This landing provides access to two bedrooms, both with strip pattern parquet flooring and a fireplace, as well as to a toilet and a luminous bathroom, looking out over the verdant setting.
Second floor
This floor comprises two bedrooms, with slightly sloping ceilings, a study and a modern shower room with a toilet. The bedrooms have strip pattern parquet flooring.
Basement
This semi-underground level also has independent access. It comprises several rooms, including a boiler-laundry room, storage areas and two rooms which could be converted into a studio flat.

Our opinion

A sun-filled house exuding radiant charm, it is set in the midst of its plot of land, steeped in peace and quiet. This home, the height of luxury forming a haven in the town centre, will provide its new owners with a feeling of timelessness. With old features and the advantages of modernity, the balance between the interior and exterior fixtures and fittings makes this tasteful property a particularly appealing place to live.
