Our opinion

This manor house stands just above the water, surrounded by woods that stretch down to the sea. The beach is a hundred or so metres away via the coastal path. Contemplation is an unlimited pleasure for the residents whether they are relaxing on the terrace or looking out from the belvedere. The architect used the local stone, granite, and multiplied the gables in a regionalist style. The inside of the residence holds its own, notably with a highly theatrical stairway. It accommodated a children’s holiday camp before becoming a family home once more. Currently in use as an artist’s studio, the adjoining pavilion could be used as a self-contained holiday accommodation rental unit.
