The village is built on the side of a hill along the old road going from Poissy to Chartres, capital of the land of the Carnutes, for which Crespières marked the northern boundary. It has very good infant and junior schools. The secondary school is in Feucherolles and sixth form colleges are to be found in Marly-le-Roi and St-Germain-en-Laye (including an international lycée). There are school bus services. This property is but 30 minutes from Paris by car via the A13 motorway. Mareil-sur-Mauldre train station, 4 km away, has links to Paris-Montparnasse.

The top floor is a succession of three original rooms with a toilet.
The 90 m² basement houses a wine cellar, a laundry room, a study area and a garage.

Our opinion

Early of a morning, 30 minutes from Paris, it is not unusual to spot stags and roe deer crossing the property’s main alleyway. That is to say that as a main residence, this home will make life serene for its family members after a busy day. Younger residents will also appreciate living here as the second level, which originally comprised a series of three rooms with a toilet, could easily be converted into a children’s suite. With its tennis court, its swimming pool and the numerous prestigious golf courses in the vicinity, others will see it as a holiday home, especially as there is no lack of trails through the surrounding countryside for hiking or pony trekking.
