In a very attractive town, with some 100,000 inhabitants, geographically located in the centre of France, well connected to the other regions via roads and motorways. The train station is but a 10-minute walk away. The regular train service puts Paris just 2 hours away.


This L-shaped building has three accesses, each with a porch way and several steps, all on one facade.
The doors are topped with a fanlight. Two more entrances are to be found on the opposite side of the building. Double oak wood doors open into the carpark.
The building features numerous, regularly arranged windows, with sober framing. The corners feature dressed stone quoins. The slate roof is in a good general state of repair. The building comprises flats, offices and function rooms, spanning a total floor surface area of approx. 900 m² over two and three levels.

A building housing a set of flats and offices

This building, constructed in the 18th century, is spread over three levels. It stands over a vaulted cellar, its cross ribs descending on to the original capitals with their plant motifs.
The ground floor comprises offices and miscellaneous function rooms. A wooden stairway goes up to the second level. The carpark can be reached via the inner courtyard.
A vestibule, at the end of the three entrances in the central building, provides access to the cellar. It also houses a stone stairway, with wrought iron railings decorated with scrolls. This leads up to four flats. The floors are predominantly covered with oak wood parquet flooring and tiles. Several rooms feature fireplaces.
The third level is composed of through rooms. It can be reached via the annex building and from the back.
The private, walled carpark has a garage in one corner, making it possible to park ten or so cars.

The cellars span a total floor surface area of approx. 75 m².

The ground floor comprises offices and function rooms.
First level
This level includes four flats, respectively spanning 64, 106, 95 and 95 m².
Second level
This level comprises a 100 m² room as well as a second one spanning approx. 192 m².

Our opinion

This impressive building attracts the eye above the wall enclosing the courtyard. The medium-sized town, in which this property stands, is both historic and ever-changing. Its history is there, in the stone. Its future is the new owners’ project which could cover a range of possibilities from a hotel to a health centre, from company offices to conversion into flats, and more besides. A building such as this one does not guarantee a company success but it makes a really good starting point.
