Like those of a fabric, the regular folds of the Serra-de-Sao-Mamede separate Spain from Portugal. This vast stretch of land with distant horizons, reached from both countries, is set in the nature park named after the mountain. An artificial lake, at its feet, adds a touch of blue to nature’s palette of colours. The view alone is already argument enough for the construction of a tourist complex; current planning permission applies to 2,492 m² and could be extended up to 10,800 m². It goes without saying that the project is ecological. Insertion in such surroundings calls for the soberness of wood and glass.
