Our opinion
Water shapes the character of this Alentejo property: it flows down from the Serra via a stream that crosses the 4.3 hectares, springs from two wells and a borehole, and irrigates orchards and vegetable gardens planted with hundreds of fruit trees. This rare abundance shapes a place where the land nourishes as much as it soothes. The century-old house, restored in 2009, has retained its exposed beams and generous volumes. Connecting rooms, three bedrooms including two suites, and a veranda opening onto the swimming pool make up the main dwelling.
