Our opinion
1896, whether carved into stone or simply recorded in the property deeds, the date matters less than what it confirms. One hundred twelve hectares of Menorcan countryside, Talayotic monuments within sight, and a house that has never strayed from its century. The 548 m² of floor space is spread over two stories, with the original floors and exposed beams running uninterrupted throughout. A living room with a fireplace, a separate kitchen, and wide porches where the air circulates as it always has. In the garage, an old bread oven serves as a reminder of what this house has long provided. The renovation is still in progress. As for its history, it doesn’t wait for us to finish it.
