Our opinion
There are cities where history isn’t confined to museums. It’s simply there—in the stone, in the alignment of the palaces, in the way the narrow streets converge on the cathedral without ever rushing. Ciutadella is one of those cities. And it is within the dense fabric of this urban landscape, among the facades of Menorcan noble families, that a south-facing apartment overlooks the gardens of a neighboring palace. Three bedrooms, a terrace shared by the living room and kitchen, and light that the southern exposure has made constant. The old town comes alive the moment you step through the door. Inside, you can’t hear it.
