Our opinion

Members of the most astonishing Beguine community lived in accordance with monastic principles without ever taking their vows. In the 18th century, they built this elegant refuge, ideal for prayer and meditation, on the banks of the river Burdinale. Behind its discreet brick facade, this residence spans 340 m² of living space, including five bedrooms, a bathroom, a lounge and a dining room. All the rooms, even the fully renovated kitchen, are crossed by superb beams. Its delightful garden is immaculately kept. By the side of a little lake, everything is ready for pleasant lunches on the grass, in the shade of tall trees. An adjoining plot of land with a 400 m² farm shed is also available for purchase over and above the asking price. The verdant surrounding parklands are an additional asset as regards a tourist project.
