Location
Rue Didot is a veritable gem of the 14th arrondissement, combining character and history. Surrounded by harmonious Haussman era buildings, it enjoys a peaceful and authentic atmosphere, emblematic of Parisian districts. The small boutiques, cafés and restaurants that fill the district with life add to its warm and friendly ambiance. The house is located in a peaceful street adjacent to Rue Didot. Previously, this cobbled thoroughfare was a commercial hub specialised in the refrigeration industry and depended on Petit-Montrouge. Over time, warehouses, sheds and garages gave way to construction of houses. The property is well linked to means of public transport, particularly metro lines 13 and 14 or the tramway that runs around the outer boulevards, as well as bus line 58 via which Châtelet can be reached within 25 minutes. The district boasts several public and private schools, from nursery to school-leaving age. Lastly, the Vanves flea market can be reached in 10 minutes on foot.

A half-storey, between the lounge and the second floor, houses a large master bedroom with an en suite shower room. The top floor is occupied by two bedrooms and a bathroom.
The house
This house has been built in a traditional style. It is constantly bathed in light thanks to its large windows and the bullseye window that adorns the south-facing façade.
The ground floor
This level is made up of two rooms. The kitchen can be reached by climbing several steps and crossing a landing with cement tiles. It is spacious and boasts many cupboards. It has a sky-blue tiled floor and is bathed in light through the windows that overlook the small street. There is also a shower room with a lavatory and hand washbasin. Lastly, to the right there is another room which can be reached from the same landing, with a large window located at street level, which could be used as a bedroom or office. It has a polished concrete floor.
The intermediate level
This room between the ground floor and lounge on the first floor could be used as a bedroom or office, as required, especially since the landing on the entresol is of sufficient size to install a shower room. It is a large room with thin stripped wood flooring and the window in it opens out onto the small street to the south.
The first floor
The staircase, with wooden steps and a metal-structured stringer, boasts a unique industrial style appearance. It climbs up to a lounge that occupies the entire level. This volume is amplified by a ceiling height of 3 metres. Light streams in through the large window, while its functioning fireplace is an invitation to relax in front of a log fire. An imposing custom-made bookshelf occupies one of the walls in this room with wood stripped flooring.
The intermediate level
This level is occupied by a large, south-facing master bedroom. It is constantly bathed in light thanks to a large window. There is wood stripped flooring in this bedroom which boasts a large wardrobe on the wall opposite the bed. On the landing on this half-storey, there is a shower room with a toilet, lavatory and washbasin. The walls and floor feature a mix of vertical and horizontal tiles in contrasting colours.
The second floor
It is made up of two bedrooms equipped with wardrobes and boasting large windows. There is wood stripped flooring on the landing and both bedrooms. The exposed roof frame adds character to this storey. A bathroom with a bath, washbasin and lavatory completes this level.
The basement
In the entrance, there is a flight of steps leading down to the basement. A large room with wood-panelled walls has been converted into a cinema room. The flooring is made up of white tiles, while a panoramic fanlight window allows for ventilation of this level. To the right, there is a wine cellar with an earthen and gravel floor. The gas-fired boiler, which powers both the heating and hot water, is contained in a cupboard specially designed to hide it. The last room is a laundry room with white walls and flooring, with two sinks and spaces reserved for washing machines.
