Our opinion
In Carovigno, the Virgin Mary herself bears a name that evokes a panoramic view: Madonna del Belvedere. Within the municipality’s boundaries, a plot of land also offers its own belvedere: an unobstructed view of the sea. It could be home to a bespoke house, with large windows facing the sea, terraces, a Mediterranean garden and an outdoor kitchen for evenings spent al fresco. Everything remains to be built. The hardest part, the view, is already there.
