Our opinion
With turquoise water, white sand and sun all year round, it is not surprising that the beaches along the Ionian coast are known as the “Little Maldives”. Not far from the famous seaside resort of Porto-Cesareo, the village of Sant'Isidoro is just a stone’s throw from the beautiful Nardò, a small, Baroque town on the Salento peninsula in the south of the Apulia region. This traditional masseria farmhouse, once part of a vast farming estate, stands in the midst of a 6-ha property, planted with one-hundred-year-old olive trees. Although these premises await renovation throughout, their rooms and architecture are steeped in potential. Their address is also one that will let new owners explore a region experiencing renewed success with tourists.
