Description
The garden
It faces to the west and north and covers a surface of approximately 2,000 m², surrounding the drive leading to the former garage. A wide variety of vegetation encircles the villa, including two young pine trees, an old cherry tree and many shrubs. The view takes in the tree-filled upper part of Trouville.
Our opinion
This modern villa boasts a layout set around a central patio and is a unique home that is wide open to the surrounding countryside. The volumes and passages are designed to enjoy the views, benefit from light pouring in and make movement fluid, while the indoor swimming pool is discretely incorporated into the house’s overall architecture. The half-timbering and sloping roofs with dormers are a reinterpretation of certain codes of typical Normandy villas, but with a more modern touch, away but not far from the liveliness of Trouville’s town-centre.
