Our opinion
In the old town of Ciutadella, there are houses you wouldn’t guess existed from the street. This one is one of them. The facade gives no hint of what lies behind it: three stories, four bedrooms, a living space opening onto a patio that the solarium, at the very top, frames against the sky. The renovation chose its battles wisely. It preserved the most essential elements of Menorcan architecture—the stone, the proportions, the way the rooms are arranged around the central open space—and simply restored its clarity. This house is just a few steps away from the cathedral. And even closer to silence.
