Our opinion
Uga has about a thousand residents. And nearly four hundred camels. It’s home to the largest herd of camels in the Canary Islands, which have been raised here since the 1960s to carry visitors across the lava fields of Timanfaya. It’s a village that still lives, without fanfare, off the land and its animals. The finca follows this same rural rhythm, preserved in its original Canarian style and renovated without ever straying from its roots. Seven accommodations. A garden planted with palm trees. Nothing more than what is necessary.
