Our opinion
A residence that combines Portuguese history with contemporary architecture. The former residence of Contador-Mor, the royal finance minister, has been returned to its original purpose following a metamorphosis orchestrated by Aires Mateus and Frederico Valsassina. These Lisbon architects have preserved the palatial soul while adding modern comforts.
