Our opinion

Built in the 17th century on a tributary of the Amblève river, this property lies on the water's edge within a deep, verdant valley. The river has had a profound impact on the shape of the terrain of this region to the south of Liège. In places, its course forms spectacular waterfalls, while at the same time creating a series of much valued gradients forming part of major cycle races. The estate includes a water mill, a barn, a cattle shed and a main house with six bedrooms and a large attic with potential for conversion. Planning permission for a self-catering cottage for up to 14 people was granted in June 2023. Combined with the many cultural and tourist activities available in the surrounding area, the unspoilt natural setting and the exceptional remains of the mill should amply ensure its continued success.
