Our opinion
The Serra de São Mamede belongs to that category of landscapes that defy description. You wander through them, lose yourself in them, and eventually come to understand why some have decided never to leave. In the lower part of the property, two medieval graves still stand, intact, as if the place had always known it deserved to be inhabited with respect. The granite boulders typical of the region, the old stone wall enclosing the property, the footpath that winds around it: a landscape that no one has ever sought to alter. The villa nestles here around a flower-filled patio. The landscape does the rest.
