Our opinion
In Ciutadella, the sea can be unpredictable. On some summer days, the harbour empties in a matter of minutes, leaving the boats resting on the seabed, before the water suddenly returns. The Menorcans call this phenomenon the ‘rissaga’. A few kilometres from the harbour, in Sa Caleta, the sea is calmer. A new villa stands on a south-facing plot of around 830 m², complete with terraces, a garden and three bedrooms. The beach is a ten-minute walk away. Here, it’s on foot – and unsurprisingly so – that you reach the sea.
