Our opinion

This property on the golden plains of Portugal’s beautiful Alentejo region is centred upon an elegant family villa with vast grounds. It lies just a stone’s throw from Pavia, a village of poets and painters. The house is remarkably spacious. Its decor is inspired by Africa. A large kitchen and an extensive lounge blend into each other in the main section, which includes three bedrooms and a suite, all of which have their own private bathroom. The high ceilings are made of wood or tiled vaults, in line with local tradition. Large picture windows look out at the grounds and swimming pool, which lies beside a sun-kissed terrace. You can also reach this terrace from a wine cellar. There is another dwelling on the property. It has a separate entrance and can host friends and guests who come to discover the authentic charm and enduring traditions of this enchanting region of Portugal.
