Description
Our opinion
Dry stone was there before anything else. Before the architect, before the project, before the very idea that anyone could live here. These walls were used to store goods that boats carried to a sheltered bay on the west coast of Kea. It is this history that has guided every decision. Green roof, desalination unit, energy management system: the building has adapted to the island, not the other way round. The terrace slopes down to the rocks. The beach is just a few steps away.
