Dotted in a circle around Delos, where mythology gave birth to Apollo, the Cyclades islands never cease to inspire dreams. Not far from Mykonos and renowned for its festive atmosphere, Tinos cultivates discretion and simplicity. Dozens of small, dazzling white villages light up a mountainous landscape which is both harsh and full of softness, where olive trees and vines plunge their roots into the depths of time. Through a stunning transformation, the three sheepfolds of Villa Lychnaftia have kept the spirit of Tinos even with their sober and harmonious layout. With the windows open, the air is fragrant and the gaze is pulled towards the sea without ever tiring of the view. Each season is a journey that you will never want to end.
We discovered Tinos two years ago and fell in love with the island. The churches, the calm, the breathtaking landscapes and the history immediately won us over. It was during one of our many walks that we discovered Lychnaftia beach in particular - it is a magnificent pebble beach from which you can see Mykonos. We appreciated the serenity and spirituality of Tinos, an island where one feels particularly at peace. The beach is one of the calmest on the island, and being able to see the sea from the garden of our house is priceless.
Our house is made up of three stone buildings each with their own terrace. The property is surrounded by a very large garden, where fruits and vegetables which can be picked every day grow. The property's most unique feature is the immediate access to the beach; we see and hear the sea from the house and can reach the beach in less than two minutes.
Before becoming habitable, the three houses were sheepfolds. The previous owner bought them and transformed them with the help of an architect. Despite their transformation, they have kept the charm and authenticity of their original history through their ancient stone structures.
Our villas invite you to relax thanks to the verandas with remarkable sea views and the exceptional calm of Lychnaftia. It’s the perfect place to take a break, a place where time seems to stand still. Once past the red gate which is visible from the beach, only a garden and a low wall separate them from Lychnaftia. Located on the west side of the island, the property is one of the rare few with direct access to the beach. The pebble beach offers splendid views of breathtaking landscapes. Tranquil and peaceful, it is one of the few in Tinos with no tavernas or beach bars in sight, and the picturesque landscapes offer an unparalleled Cycladic experience. After a long day at the beach, guests can prepare dinner with vegetables from the garden or enjoy an aperitif on one of the spacious stone tables in the garden.
Other beaches, such as Santa Margarita located on a beautiful sand dune, are just a short drive away. Fifteen minutes away by car is Agios Ionnis, a very pleasant, sandy beach frequented by locals which offers deckchairs and a number taverns to choose from for a taste of traditional Greek dishes. Close by are some of Tinos' most emblematic villages such as Kardiani, Ktikados, Berdemiaros, Triandaros, Arnados or even Pyrgos which features a museum of local artists. In the picturesque village of Dio Choria, the friendly Sio Kamaki tavern overlooks the heights of the island and is the perfect spot to watch the magnificent sunsets. The To Thalassaki serves fine dishes and delicious fish whilst you dip your toes in the water. Dio Horia one of the best traditional good meal on the island...

The property consists of three houses, each with a bedroom and private bathroom. The larger house has a functional kitchen and living room. Another house offers a terrace with a large stone table and a fully equipped kitchen. The last bedroom is just as spacious and has a direct view of the sea.
